cannot playback some recorded shows

I am having regular problems playing back recordings, but the same .TS file plays fine in Video Lan Client. Here is a dump of NPVR.log when I try to play So You Think You Can Dance. The video playback starts, immediately hangs, and the UI is still responsive to the Escape key so I get back to my recordings list.

It seems that the freeze occurs just as NextPVR is skipping a commercial. Can you try renaming that recordings .edl file to something else temporarily and try playing the recording again?

That fixed it! What does this indicate, that NextPVR can't correctly skip to timepoints in the TS file on some occasions?

If you just take that first commercial out of the file, that starts at zero, do the others skip fine?

The other points do not skip. I also cannot skip forward or backward in the video file without it hanging.

Odd. Unfortunately it's not good timing for looking into it. My build is no longer compatible with 2.4.x, so I cant provide patches to collect more info at this stage.
