Recording restarts every minute

I'm not using any EPG software.

That is the problem. I can reproduce your problem by emptying my EPG.

My excuse is I dont do any testing without an EPG. Everything in GB-PVR is really designed around the EPG, so you are trying to use it in a way it wasnt really intended to be used. Thats said, I'll try to correct the issue in the next release.

Last time I tried it this way (about 6 months ago), it would do this file switch at the end of the hour if you didnt have shows listings. Now it seems to be doing it every minute, so I must have broken some aspect of this in that last six months.

The only immediate work-around is to setup an EPG setup.

At least we know the cause now!

Great that you found the bug! I''l try to implement EPG on my system, but I also looking forward to the next release were you don't need to configure EPG.

Even then, its still pretty much going to need an EPG.
