I'm no expert with multidec stuff, so I'm not well placed to help anyone work through these types of issues.

My acamd setup still seems to be working fine.

Some random notes that may or may not help you:
-I'd try running 'nrecord.exe RUN' from command line to ensure you can see any tray icons created.
- You want to be sure your acamd plugin is being loaded. If it is, it'll have a tray icon created.
- When you click that icon, it should show the Acamd monitor window. The contents of that window has always been the most useful info to me.
- It'll often tell you if ECM/EMM messages aren't being processed (like smart card isn't activated for that channel, and is waiting for it's key activation message to go by in the stream). Messages like:
Quote:05:41:31: Newcamd 0F1B5028: ECM [044F] Proccessed, CHID=0006 (0.178)
05:41:31: Newcamd 0F1B5028: card was not able to decode the channel [044F]
- It needs to get the odd and even keys before it can decrypt a channel:
Quote:05:43:42: [00] SendDCW Odd: :7E2F4DFAED6182D0
05:43:42: [00] SendDCW Even: 80D5015602D03709:
- If it's got both the odd and even key, and no signs of obvious errors in your monitor output, then ffdecsa.dll might be your problem.

I know there is newer versions of acamd, with different ways to view the monitor messages, but thats what I do with the version I'm using.

This is what a fairly type channel change looks like for me in acmd's monitor. ie, changed channels, wasnt able to decode the channel for the first second or so, before it got the keys, then was decrypted fine, and continued to process EMM messages as they went by.

I uninstalled 2.5.5., reinstalled 2.2.6.
Watched live-tv on an encrypted channel and changed about 5 times to another encrypted channel.
I stopped recording service through windows start menu, winrarred- the logs but MVP.log couldn't be added.
NDigitalHost.log wasn't there at all.

Hope this helps solving the problem. Looks like switching to 2.3.6 started the problem. Can try that again, but now have 2.2.6 still installed for testing purposes. Let me know if you need anything.

Thanks, Wim.

I think you forgot to attach the logs...

Do the logs give any clues?

Nothing stands out the logs for me.

Do you definitely have one of the following two files (with exact path):

C:\Program Files\NPVR\FFDecsa.dll
C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR\FFDecsa.dll

It is hard to tell without the failing logs to compare. What I can see is that things work ok, but you already know that...

I have now 2.2.6 installed with FFDecsa.dll in C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR. As you can see in the logs, I can watch digital encrypted tv.
Before, I had 2.3.6 installed with the same FFDecsa and I couldn't, as you can see in the logs in the beginning of this thread.

Obviously, something went wrong for me with 2.3.6 and digital encrypted tv. What do you want me to do? Reinstall 2.5.5. and post the log-files again?

I just noticed that although I can watch digital encrypted tv with the current program (2.2.6) and settings, I cannot record a tv show, neither digital nor analogue (I get an error).
So, I would like to go to 2.5.5 as soon as possible. What do you need me to do while on 2.2.6? Or should I install 2.5.5 and post logs then?
