So, I would like to go to 2.5.5 as soon as possible. What do you need me to do while on 2.2.6? Or should I install 2.5.5 and post logs then?
Exactly what error do you get when you try to record a show?

I attached a notepad-file with the error-information. But, this is with 2.2.6 installed. Never had that before, something must have gone wrong with uninstalling and installing 2.2.6 (maybe the config-file that's still 2.5.5).

I hope to have the encrypted digital tv problem solved in 2.5.5.

It could be because the database structure was modified some time after 2.2.6 (I think it was with 2.3.6). But to sum up, we know that your MDPlugin directory is ok, NewCS is working and with the older version Acamd is working too. But when the whole trouble started Acamd was not responding after getting the second set of DCW's. Do you have version 6.1.8? That is what I use and I have not had any trouble with encrypted channels for a long time (fingers crossed :p).

I have acamd 6.1.8 too. And the trouble started, I think, with 2.3.6. Should I install 2.3.6 now to confirm, maybe it gives Sub a clue if he knows when it went wrong? Or just skip to 2.5.5 right away, because there's no support for 2.3.6 anymore?

Could it be related to timestamp issues? I remember I had some problems on the MVP in this area and when I switch digital encrypted channels (watching livetv), I get timestamp(?) info when I hover over the screen with the mouse: "starttime" -00:00:00, "endtime" xx:xx, being the current time. Maybe 2.2.6 doesn't have a problem with this and 2.3.6 does?

That is possible, but it should not cause Acamd to stop responding. You have a point that there is no support for 2.3.6 anymore, so maybe the best chance for getting it fixed is 2.5.5. Sub may need to add some logging too.

I'm not aware of any changes in 2.3.x that would have affected this multidec stuff. Nothing has changed with it's code for a very long time.

You could maybe try (with 2.5.5) running "nrecord.exe RUN > log.txt" from the command line, then try watching a couple of channels,, then post the log.txt. Some of the multidec related messages just go to standard output, and wouldn't show in the other logs.

Here it is. I also attached acamdlog-file and printscreen of the newcs (forgot to set it to output->file).

Can you set <OutOfProcessDigital> to false in config.xml, then try again and repost those logs?
