Will NEXT PVR work with this hardware (Hauppauge USB)?

I've been looking into what hardware to buy to get satellite tv on my computer.

I think I'm going to buy the Hauppauge WinTV Nova-S USB2.

Has anyone used this bit of kit with Next PVR? How can I find out if it's compatible?

NextPVR and Hauppauge have a very brotherly relationship. All Hauppauge kit works with NPVR.

I know nothing of Sat TV but I didn't see a mention of DVB S2 (ess two) on the web page. Does this matter?

from a v quick bit of google research, it seems like dvb-s will give me all standard definition and high definition channels. DVB-S2 is advisable only because there is a good chance that the high definition channels will only be accessible through DVB-S2 at some point in the future.

Does anyone know if I have got this right?

I'm only interested in standard definition channels anyway (because my graphics card can't do HD) so I think I'm ok with DVB-S.

Glad to hear that the hauppauge is likely to wrk with nextpvr, because i have to confess I bought one through ebay a few hours ago because I couldn't resist
