I installed the cumulative patch update (as it turns out, that is the one I already installed). Now, when you mention that there are many more to follow, are those all the links that start with:
=== NPVR 2.5.9 Patches R1 includes updates 1-13 === 1. End-times on completed recordings incorrect - http://forums.gbpvr.com/showthread.p...463#post442463 2. fix "device failed to start" with Technotrend device: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showthread.p...061#post443061 3. fix some scheduled recordings not highlighted red in tv guide: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showthread.p...193#post443193 4. fix audio source selection on Colossus: http://forums. If so, there are a lot of patches there, and a lot of pages to go through. Either way, let me know if this is correct, or if I'm out to lunch...

You will need some from 14 up but they are all linked on the one post.

THANK YOU!!! One of the updates for the HDPVR (15 and 16) definitely did the trick. I just applied those two, and it's working perfectly again. I appreciate your patience on this.
Looking forward to the next cumulative patch. ;-)

Spoke too soon. It doesn't change channels anymore, but I'm tired and heading to bed. I'll look into the other patches tomorrow night.

Now you've got those patches installed, you'll probably need to reproduce the problem and post the logs again.

Here are the logs.

Odd, I just redid my sound back to RCA and got my Colossus video working (finally!) and the same thing after adding the latest patches - channel changer quit working - but only on that card. My other hauppauge changes channels fine (through the exe and eventghost). I'll be looking tonight to see if Eventghost is actually receiving the proper commands -if so then it's not NextPVR.

Nope, it's NPVR. I'll do a different post about it. Basically I have the colossus channel changer set to eventghost and for some reason it's changing a parameter from 3 to 1.
My args: -n localhost:1024 pass channel 3 {channel} the address and port work (or EV wouldn't see the message), the password "pass" works or I'd get an error poppup, the 'channel' script name works or the rest wouldn't be processed. the {channel} works as I can see it in the event logs but the '3' becomes a 1. It's not eventghost as I made no changes and I even loaded a backup config I saved when I first set everything up. The only thing I haven't done is emptied the EPG and other tuner and redid everything.
