unable to find capture device

Hi I have a problem where whenever I try to see live TV, it always says "unable to find capture device". The capture card (Avermedia) is detected and it scans and finds channels. It also does not update the epg. Any help would be appreciated. Logs attached.

The device is failing to start for some unknown reason. Are you sure it's not in use in some other software?

I had this same problem, after trying to change AverMedia H826 from the QAM tuner to the ATSC tuner (Comcast encrypted all channels on Dec 12). This was using v3.1.1 w/ the R1 update. When I changed back to QAM, I didn't get the 'unable to find available capture device' message; back to ATSC, and the error returned. After trying a service restart and then reboot, to no avail, I then removed the H826 devices from NPVR's Devices settings, then restarted NPVR, re-setup ATSC, and it works fine now.

Hope this helps someone. I'd guess some legacy setup/settings for the H826 were incompatible or something...? I hadn't used NPVR in quite some time, and actually I don't think I'd ever setup the ATSC tuner with NPVR (have used it with WMC).
