Hi all,
My fist post on this forum and it isn't even a question
I've decided to give NextPVR a spin. It didn't take long before I discovered that I did not find all the expected channels while doing a scan. This is because the tuning file for my area is not up to date. I use "Netherlands - Ziggo - Limburg.brabant.ini" that can be found in Users\Public\NPVR\Tuning\DVB-C. The other Ziggo ini files are probably not up to date as well since Ziggo made a lot of changes a while back.
I've managed to put together a new file that does find every available channel for other people like me living in the Ziggo 1111 area. For other people in other Ziggo areas who want to do the same thing as I did, you can find the correct frequencies on http://www.digitalekabeltelevisie.nl/tec...home.shtml. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out how to alter the existing .ini file to make it work.
It would be nice if my updated file will end up in the next release. I hope this is of any use to someone else in the future. Please let me know.
