Hi Sub. I could not find this one in the release notes for 2.6.2. Did it make it into the load ?

I cant really remember. I think so.

@XJW - I would strongly assume it did - that was a released patch, so the only way it wouldn't make it into a later release is if sub specifically removed the code for some reason. I imagine he'd only do that if you had reported that it didn't work or broke something else, which you clearly didn't.
I realize this is just a really long version of sub saying "I think so.", but the point I'm making is that unless something exceptional happens, once a feature is added it's there for good.

I tested it after johnsonx42 told me about this useful feature here http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post455120 and it worked.

actually I believe XJW wants the opposite result - for the file/folder name to come from the manual recording Name field. I've not tested it, but I'm reasonably sure that if you set the Name field, then it will use that. If you leave it to Default as in that example, then it uses what it gets from the matching EPG entries.

Yes I am pretty sure I confirmed the folder "Name" feature too

Thanks guys. I must have missed the email notifications. This is a really nice tweak for keeping the recordings folder tidy.
