No worries on the path, if I was more familiar with NPVR I would have known the right place to put it.

I tried adding Shows to the list and also leaving it blank with the same result.
I just tried installing to a clean NPVR install on the PMS Win 7 server and the exact same result.

I'm still looking around :-)

Oh one other thing I've noticed is a crash apparently caused by the Plex plugin when I stop viewing TV.
If I disable the plugin all is good.

I was just reading through this, could it have to do with the location path? One is a NAS the .40/mov and the other is the local server (not the PMS).

Potentially not, the point where it's failing, it's just read this list and just about to start processing it.

I've just posted a 0.7.4.1 - I had the in use at my house for a while (just adds a timer for trakt). But the .1 includes some more logging in this area for you.

Also the .7.3 version may not have been what it was supposed to (saw an error in the .zip file). Give this one a go and post the log file if it still has errors.

sorry i am a little confused about this plugin, which i just discovered. been using plex and npvr for a while now and i'm not sure what this does exactly. i already have plex pointed to my recordings folder and they show up in plex no problem. so what will this allow me to do? i'm hoping it would fix the one issue i have using npvr files in plex, which is that if the recording has not finished, it will only play up to where it currently was when i started playing. so i effectively have to wait for recording to finish to play it or i have to play it a number of times while skipping forward to the spot it got cut off.

It's jut a simple playback client of plex content. Really there's no benefit for you as you have access to the recordings part of nextpvr any way. I use it a a videos plugin (instead of the native one) as plex keeps track of my watch history.

sorry i'm a little dense. so this let's you watch plex videos through npvr? i was hoping it was the other way allowing me to watch live tv through plex.

Yeah exactly. Plex I think is going to make moves into live TV. And if they keep their xbmc roots (specifically the frodo version). Then hopefully the nextpvr xbmc plugin will be usable.

I think someone has already built the xbmc live tv stuff into Plex as an unofficial build.
I saw it on the web the other day, but seeing as I host my plex on linux, and don't know too much about it - didn't download, and am now struggling to find the page.
