Im not exactly sure that GB-Pvr caused this problem, but it started happening after I installed GBPVR. No matter what file format I use in Windows Media Player, I can never get any audio. Ive tried reinstalling WMP 10 three times now but without succsess. Any ideas?

It wont be GB-PVR. This problem typcially happens when you install new audio/video decoders on your system. GB-PVR install doesnt install any of these. Instead it just relies on decoders already on your machine (much like WMP does).

Also if you have ffdshow on you machine, this could be another potential candidate.

You could probably find out which filter/decoder is causing the problem by doing the following. Download and run GraphEdit.exe (google for it). From the menu, select the 'Render File' option. It'lll pop up 'file open' window. Browse to one of the media files which are causing you a problem and select it. This will result in a picture which shows which decoders are being used on your machine. Take a close look at the audio branch of the tree. Post the screenshot here if you need further help.

I dont know then. It must be something else then. Sorry.

Knowing what I know about the GB-PVR install and function, and that we're not hearing the same thing from the other 25000 users that have downloaded the current version, I'm pretty confident this wasnt caused by GB-PVR.
