Tuner Card List

Is there any way to make gbpvr work with any cards that are not on the dropdown list in setup, maybe manually add a card. I have a card that came with Pixelview Station and uses the driver set BtTuner, WDM TV Tuner with a manufacturer of TelSignal Co., Ltd. The card works great with Pixelview and Media Portal, but I really like the features and usability of gbPVR. I tried setting it up as all of the cards on the list and it gives me a cannot find specified device error when trying to start live TV. When using the tuner helper app it gives me a cannot find crossbar error. Thanks....

Its not designed to work with this type of card, so you're probably out of luck. You MIGHT be able to get it work with this user-developed plugin: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=2753

Honestly, if you want to use GB-PVR, or many other PVR apps, you should get a Hauppauge PVR150 card or similar.

I have no plans to directly support these cards in future.

Not the answer I was looking for but much kudos for the killer response time, great support. (yet another reason to use gbpvr
