Did the recording create a file with data in it (i.e. not zero bytes) in the recordings folder (as specified here http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?....Recording ) ? Does that file play when you double click it and play it with Windows Media Player? Standard def (i.e. not HD) channels in UK are all MPEG2 Video and MPEG1 Audio. I suggest that you try and set those two decoders to LAV Video and LAV Audio. Set all other decoders to disabled. Set Audio Renderer to Default. Here ... http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...n.Decoders
And finally, it looks as if your valiant efforts so far have left the NextPVR database in a bit of a pickle ... that is probably why some channels give a different result to other channels. You might like to start over with a new clean database. Delete npvr.db3 (it's in the folder that contains the Logs folder) and restart nextpvr.exe and this will create a clean new database ... rescan on both? tuners and hit the Update EPG button. That should get all channels working the same.
