Out of memory error

What screen did you leave it on?

What skin are you using, and have you made any modifications to it?

I left it at the main menu and I am using the default skin. No mods.

Try leaving it on a screen w/o changes (even the tv guide has the time), like videos or record and do the same experiment. Or switch to a skin where the main menu doesn't have the next recording messages or the time.

I switched it to the blue sky skin and have yet to see an out of memory error. That kinda points towards the changing text on the bottom of the default skin...

Yes, I also suspected it was related to the "next recording" panel. I've got it on my list of things to look at in the next couple of days, and if there is a problem I'll fix it for the next release.

If you're still up for testing it, try using the default skin w/ the recording msg, but turn down logging to error.

I am guessing that the logging is set up in the config? If so, I'll give it a try.

I've found the problem with the 'next recording' panel and corrected it for the next release.

Awesome. I figured it must have been something to do with the "next recording" display as I have been running the skin without it for the past few weeks and had no out of memory problems.

Installed 0.93.10 and am still getting the out of memory after leaving it at the main screen for extended periods (over 1 week). It is worse now because the skin with the "recording soon" on it is now the only skin.

I tried using the screen saver, but that locked up my machine after an extended run as well.

I use my PC soley for GBPVR and it runs the client 24-7.
