My virus scanner went nuts.
Claims the "SASageTV.dll" contains Win32-Aimbot trojan...

Since you're not using SageTV, you could just delete it.

You could also redownload it to see if you get the same results. If you do, I'd recommend sending the file to your virus scanner company and asking them to investigate.

Just ran your beta on a couple of shows (uk terestrial) and it work! - I could never get comskip to be accurately detect the ads - Great work!

I can't remember how many hours I spent trying to tune comskip to no avail.. With ShowAnalyzer, I just adjusted the commercial/show segment lengths (didn't mess with any scoring) and it worked out of the box (well download!)

What channels did you try it on? I found the Alpha worked ok on Sky One where the onscreen logo was removed during the commercial break, but on channels like Paramount where the logo stayed I didn't get very good results. Can you post your settings?

I assume you mean 4 files. There should be 2 exe's and 2 dll's.

Regardless, I am investigating this. I suspect it has something to do with the encryption I use. Still, they shouldn't flag as trojans. Did you send the "infected" files to your virus scanner company?

did it catch all of the commercials. I love comskip it is about 85% accurate for me, 100% on some shows. I should try out the trial and see how well it works, if it works well I should switch too.

Only tried three 1/2 hour shows and a couple of films so far - all with 100% success - All UK terestrial (can't get freeview/cable) so no logos to speak of

I had no accurate results on any channels with alpha

I downloaded SA and was going to try the free mode. I downloaded the EvilMPASource.dll and MPEGDecoder.dll and put them in C:\Program Files\Dragon Global\ShowAnalyzer

I get the error that
"Show analyzer is not registered and an appropriate filter cannot be found. You will need to register or install appropriate decoders."

I am under the impression that the free version does not require registration. So it is complaining about the decoders. So I am missing something....

I have the same error...but was under the assumption that one needed a key, either for trial, or "normal"...still waiting on Jere for my key though, one way or the other.
