For some reason, GBPVR won't wake my machine anymore to update the EPG. I beleive it's done this since the most recent version.

I was rurnning .90.10 (I think) and it stopped updating for some reason, so I upgraded to 92.11 and for a while it did. It has also started to wake up at new random times, I can't quite work out why. It also fails to start to do a recording now, that was what started me upgrading.

I "solved" the problem by using a Windows scheduled task to update the EPG and not use the GBPVR-wake-for-update. It's not a nice solution, but it works.

Actually, I figured out my problem. The EPG update was crashing for some reason, so it didn't look like it was waking up. I solved the problem by clearing my EPG and manually updating once. Now it will wake up and update itself.

Thanks. I will do some more testing and decide how to attack this.

Found something weird in my config.xml - I had 2 lines with "wake for update", one was true and one was false.

I removed the wrong one, and today, I checked and the machine was indeed woken. I hope this solves it.
