Hi - I've recently upgraded to a 19" LCD monitor and discovered issues that go with high-res (everything seems formatted for 800x600).

In the GBPVR screens everything is really big - like the text and stuff. Can I change this for my res 1280x1024? I currently have my desktop scaled to 120 DPI amd the monitor is running in its native res so I don't want to change that.

Any suggestions? Thanks

Its designed to be run fullscreen on a TV and watched from across the room, so yes, things are generally pretty big.

If you can be arsed, then you can make your own skin targeting this specific resolution, just use one of the existing skins as a starting point and start editing files....

Thanks for the reply.

You're right about it being big for across the room, but in my case the text overlaps the buttons and disappears off the screen or the text is cut off along the bottom etc.

Not much I can do I guess Sad

Ah, sorry I see what you mean. I thought you meant things in general were large

Yes, GB-PVR only works when Window's is using standard size fonts. If you want to use large fonts, look for a different application. Using large fonts causes text to overlap buttons etc.

Thanks for the reply,

I guessed it would be something like that. Sometimes I wish I had of stuck with a smaller monitor. At least I don't have to reboot to change back to normal fonts Smile

Actually the DPI setting also affects the UI, so I can't easily change without rebooting Sad
