It's the same place, but I yes I absolutely wanted the old logs. The MVP.log is the next connection.

OK here they are - hope there enough. I have done more than one nrecord restart

The .3 log in this case is the correct one, but it just shows a disconnect when NextPVR is sending data. If you disable the screen saver does anything show?

I have attached a new version with some more debug info and extract it to the mvpmc share and run
/etc/mvpmc/mvpmcx2debug Also enable this in the MVP section of config.xml and send all the logs. <ExtendedLogging>true</ExtendedLogging> Martin

Here they are. mvpmcx2debug seemed to be looping. I left it for five minutes then killed it. Hope this is OK

Its not looping, the rfb handshake is good and mvpmcx2 is doing exactly what it should telling NextPVR it is there, and I see the send/receive of the time every minute. Did you try turning of the TV to reset it? Martin

OK Martin I'll have a go at the TVs tomorrow. It seems odd. it behaves the same way with two different TVs and HDMI cables. I'll try another one and also component and composite feeds.

No success really
Tried component and composite, same result. For one brief moment on composite I got the UI, but it went away almost immediately. Attached the relevant logs. They are run with the 'startmeup' line commented out, otherwise the puTTy log seems very short. (The composite was run on a TV for which the config file wasn't correct) I have got a work-around, which may perhaps be relevant. I can set up share on the PCH pointing at the NPVR recordings directory on the server, and this works fine. But I really miss the NPVR UI. Obviously with the work-around I just get a rather unfriendly file listing

StevHodge Wrote:No success really For composite you forgot to change the res to 800x600 I did notice you still have the screen saver on I asked you to turn it off for now. Yes as I wrote you do need to comment out startmeup If you can play videos with the NMT menu on, I can't see why this won't work. There is one mvp.log where it ran for 3 hours any idea what that was?
