Why would I have more than 1 MAC address listed? The third one is my Popcorn Hour and I'm not able to remove the other 2.

I have two on my machine. My machine has two Ethernet adapters on it, a wireless and a cat-5 wired. I have my wireless disabled, but it is still listed on that screen. I think those are just all the present ethernet adapters, whether or not you have them disabled in Windows. Your Popcorn Hour must also serve as an ethernet adapter to the OS and to NPVR.

I do have a Ceton device that I thought 1 would be but that third one is the one I'm confused about. No worries, just something I've not noticed before.
Thanks!

Online it looks like the Ceton doesn't any Cat-5 or wireless ethernet adapters on it, so there wouldn't be any reasons for it to have a MAC address. Unless you are sure, your computer probably just has two ethernet adapters of its own, in some form or another, whether or not you are using them.

I think the top two are in the distributed config file (they are in the config master file anyway).

I seem to remember this has been mentioned before and the MAC addresses are sub's own which were used for testing purposes and ended up being left in the config master which is used to generate the config.xml on a first install. In short, if you don't have any devices on your network with those MAC addresses the sections will never come in to play.

Cheers,
Brian

I always assumed they were just sample entries. It would be nice if Settings showed something in the Info column - like MVPName and/or MVPSkin...

Definitely not my Ceton device as the MAC address it gives me is completely different.
No harm, no foul, just my OCD I guess.

Yeah, 0006DC427CB7 and 0006DC81256C were my devices. Sorry, I should have removed them rather than leaving them in the file.

Don't do anything on my account. But, at least I know I"m not crazy and until the latest version, I've never noticed it before.
