Dumbest question ever?

I dunno, because I'm a new recruit. I downloaded and set up XBMC, then chose and installed NextPVR as my back end, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to configure it. I assume it's from within XBMC since it's an add-on, but can't seem to find the right menu item. :confused: You'd never know I was an IT manager in a former life. Could someone point me in the right direction? Hate being a n00b.

You need to have NextPVR configured and working before you try to connect to it from XBMC. ie, in NextPVR, right-click and select 'Settings', then go to the Devices tab and scan for channels etc.

Confirm it's working in NextPVR with the LiveTV button before moving on getting the XBMC side of things going.

Once you have NPVR working on your windows pc you need to enable and configure the xbmc add-on.

If you have NPVR set up and you can't find the configure screeen try this:
Go to:
System
Settings
Add-ons
if you're in a menu of addons such as Enabled add-ons or such Select the .. to go up in the directory structure to get to the root addons menu
Open Disabled add-ons
You should see NPVR here (unless you've already enabled it)
Select it to activate
This should pop up a window with options to enable and configure
