Playback not working sometimes

I don't consider it strange, currently on my Windows laptop all my drive letter shares are showing disconnected and NextPVR wouldn't be able to play anything from the libraries either, I'd need to click on them in My Computer to reconnect, I consider this an OS thing.

That is normal for you, so NextPVR would not play anything. In my case, I can play other recordings on the same share, but not a particular one until I go back to Kodi to play it. If the share is the problem, then nothing should play.

For OE it's probably cache related, x-newa is finding it in the directory otherwise it would fallback to http. Perhaps try permanent mount http://wiki.openelec.tv/index.php?title=...ork_shares and change advancedsettings.xml to use the new mount points if turning.

I do not know if you have done the OE permanent mount, but I followed all the instructions, but the share does not appear in the mount list after a reboot. Am I missing something other than creating the .mount file and then enabling it? Thanks.

I hadn't done one before but I just created one as storage-nextpvr.mount and it works. Under Kodi Default Locations I have a folder called nextpvr as expected.
