interface problem

Not sure if this is skin or interface but here is my problem:

Inside a selected recording, I only have
back
play

or
back
resume
restart

in the menu to the left.

To get to delete, I have to go way up top (gives back, delete, metadata)

This is a reinstall after MB crash and rebuild but my old setup had delete as part of the main selections.

Any way to get that interface (wife agro in motion here)

Go into the Settings->Misc2 screen, and untick the 'show new metadata screens in recordings'.

Not at this stage. The new screens are still a work in progress.

I don't follow you. What do you mean?

It's a good time to give feedback on this, because I'm doing some work on these screens.

I'm sure he simply means that having some features on the side menu and others on the top hidden menu would not be his first choice. I would elaborate by saying that Delete is a common function and should be on the normal menu, while 'back' and 'metadata' are reasonable choices for the hidden menu.

correct. Delete is the first thing you want to select so moving all around is not good.

You sure are recording too much. Resume and Play and Cancel are biggies here. Back isn't a bad choice for slow remotes you wouldn't want delete to happen with a quick ok.

Just adding my two cents, having the Delete button on the main list as per 2.6.2 would be my preference too. Having it on the top hidden menu is quite awkward to get to.
