Hi

I've just installed GBPVR and an MVP, and I have a Hauppauge Nova-T 9002 installed. I've got it working as far as seeing the GBPVR menu on the MVP, but when I select Live TV I get the following error on the screen:

Failed to communicate with the Recording Service.

In the gbpvrrecordingservice.exe.log file I have the following error:

If I try and record a show in the background it appears to start correctly, but I have this error in the gbpvrrecordingservice.exe.log file:

8/8/2005 7:07:23 PM.656 VERBOSE [17] checking pending recordings

The above errors occur when trying to control GBPVR through the MVP. If I try and watch Live TV on the machine where GBPVR is running I get the following message:

Channel Tuning information not known.

Not really sure where to go nxt with this, any help would be appreciated.

Can you post your gbpvrrecordingservice.exe-native.log file?

Did you click the 'map digital channels to EPG channel' button? You need to do this or you'll get the "Channel Tuning information not known" error.

Oops. That's sorted it, works fine now. Thanks for the quick reply.
