I have a problem where I can't install any release or pre-release newer than 09211. Is there anything different in the install process SUB? Basically it looks like its completed the install and just before it would normally display the message about using a Hauppauge Remote it rolls back the install and complains of an error (non-discript error message - Fatal Error I think it was). I have uninstalled 09211 - removed the devnz directory - rebooted and it still fails the same way - and yet 09211 installs ok everytime.

Any help on this GREATLY appreciated. The main feature I want to get is the export/import recordings so in future playing around I can Backup my recording list as I have quite a few "orphaned" recordings from prior fresh installs / pc changes.

Same here, cant install fresh or upgrade from the last 2 releases. I have rebooted inbetween and it wont finish the install. It seems to finish the install but then starts rolling back the install and erroring out.

Same here my friend, I have tried every possible manner in which to install and all of them end up in error when I get up to installing the latest version. Hopefully someone finds a fix/workaround. Big Grin

Hello
I wanted also to upgrade to the lastest version but it is always stopping the install process before the end and deletes the old version.

I'd like to go back to 09211 but this version is not anymore on the server?
Does anyone has still this old version available?

Regards
Neo.01

it looks like quite a few ppl are having the same install problem Sad

.. and yet, there's also others who have had no problems .. or were able to workaround it by re-installing after initial failures...

..maybe there's a specific set of steps that we need to take to get the install to work ? ..

could someone who was able to install successfully, please outline the steps they took to upgrade from 09211 to 09310 ?

thx!

I'm having same problem as well. I ran the latest MSD in log mode. This is the part of the log where things seems to go bad and back-out. Is this a clue to anyone? Note the part about "I'm your 32bit impersonated..."

I too have now tried absolutely everything except formatting c: and starting from scratch (which I'm really not that keen on doing..).

Oh well, good thing I'm quite happy with 0.92.. Wink
