NPVR crashing / Win 10

I was wondering if you got the dump file you needed and plan on looking into the "American Idol" problem?
I realize I can remove the NPVRCCExtractor.ax file, but then I'm left without any closed captions.
I got used to the captions when viewing a lot of the BBC shows.

I tried using a MainConcept decoder but I don't get any captions.
Perhaps the version (V 1.5) is too old?

As far as I know, this problem with NPVRCCExtrator.ax was fixed a few weeks ago with this patch: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post499602

Tried the patch; still crashes around 5:47 into the show.

I should mention that this happens while watching a recording of "American Idol".
I didn't want it confused with the problem of watching live TV.

Your problem is probably something else then.

You'll need to collect a dump file, so I can check the cause.

That dump file doesn't look like it's crashing in NPVRCCExtrator.ax. Can you see if decoder other than this MainConcept one crashes in this same place?

First let me say that in every test case, if I remove NPVRCCextractor the file plays through without any errors.

That said, I tried the "ffdshow Video Decoder" and the "Cyberlink Video/SP Decoder" with the same results; crashes at 5:47.
I tried the "Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder" but all I get is a black screen with audio??

I even tried it on 3 different PCs and they all had the same results.

I wonder if the other guys who had the "Idol" problem tried your new patch, or maybe it was just the guy with the live-TV problem?
