Default Haupaupage Remote, Cant Change Channel

Hey,

I have a very basic setup. Just a coax cable going from splitter to PVR-250 card. I can watch tv, just cant change channel.

When I use the up and down arrows, the little channel name and description overlays at bottom change, but the channel doesnt change.

Also, entering 22 and then pressing OK doesnt change the channel either, it just tells me what is on channel 22. Its like GBPVR thinks the channel has changed, but it hasnt.

I tried using the 'direct access option' but nothing seems to work? I also put the .ini settings from the WIKI site into the remote and tried that but it didnt work either?

I have tried what you suggested (clicked the button), but still same result. GBPVR thinks the channel is whatever I try to change it to, but the actual feed stays the same.

I searched the forums, but couldnt really find anything..

It works in WinTV, so thats what baffles me?

This implies there is nothing wrong with the remote.

Check your channel numbers in the capture source settings.

Im not sure what to do.

All my channels are listed correctly, and I even used the tuning assitant to make sure. It seems as though I cant get any other channel but NBC?

If I go to the menu and click a different channel it just stays on NBC. Hmmm... ?

I had the tuner set to fixed channel?? It was set to NBC Channel 11 :o

Is there a guide anywhere to suggest what video renderes / overlay modes we should use? Im not sure how I can get the best possible picture?

Also, is there a way to see whats on the other channels without turning it over?

Either Ctrl-G (the green key) or F1 (Guide key)
