Hauppauge Drivers

Note that even though Hauppauge prescribes these for the Colossus, they are good for all models right back to the original HDPVR.

Quick Q - the driver tab for Windows (all I need is the driver) shows 2013. If I want to install the driver ONLY - will that download allow you to do that and does it actually update the Driver?

It updates the drivers and then installs the Hauppauge Capture program. You could delete the program after, retaining the drivers, but I find the Hauppauge Capture recorder is handy to keep around for testing and manual recording. It has a small footprint and co-exists with NPVR nicely.

I don't see any new drivers with the Capture record for the Colossus. Upon installation the driver details still show the 1.8.31093 driver from 2013.
