Operating System Change

I was thinking about changing from Windows 10 to Windows Server 2012 R2 on the PC that runs nextPVR. I use Windows Server 2012 R2 for my movie server and teamed 2 NICs and noticed it was easier to stream to multiple media servers (Raspberry Pi3 using Kodi) in my house. I was thinking of doing the same thing with the PC currently running nextPVR. I am hoping that teaming NICs would allow my media servers to watch TV to maybe get rid of some cable boxes.

Enough rambling, would Windows Server 2012 R2 be a better solution? Does anyone have a similar setup or can offer some advice?

Server OS's typically don't come with BDA support but there are ways to add it. Google "windows server 2012 bda support"...
