Hi, trying to setup my ATi T550P to record from a composite source, rather than TV channels via an aerial. Using GB-PVR 92.11.

Set Source to 'Composite, External Tuner' and no tv aerial connected. So all channels just display the composite source. When trying to record the composite source on say BBC1 with no EPG data by timeshifting LiveTV, the recording gets split into 1min chunks instead of a single file.

Edit: nevermind, think I've solved it by updating to 93.10 and adding a channel manually instead of recording off a real channel like BBC1.

Actually have another issue now. Is there an Aspect ratio option in GB-PVR?

When trying to record from a composite source (Sky+ box), the ratio is fine for LiveTV, but changes for timeshift recording. Such that the bottom of the recording is missed and block artifacts can be seen at the bottom.

Can solve this manually by first running BeyondTV and watching LiveTV, closing it and then running GB-PVR. Then the aspect ratio is fine for recording. However, after a reboot, the problem is back.

Also notice according to PVAStrumento 2.1 that recordings have an audio bit-rate of 384kbps, when in GB-PVR it's set to 224kbps.

Pressing F7 will cycle through the aspect ratios.

GB-PVR cant control the audio bitrate on the ATI 550 Pro card.

Some PAL 550 users have had to edit direct.ini and set ForceStandard=16
