Can't upgrade to 3.9.2

I am trying to apply the latest update and all seems to go well to completion. However, when NPVR is restarted I still get the upgrade available and current version 3.8.3 notification.

I have tried to apply the update from within NPVR. I have also tried closing all NPVR services, etc, turning Norton off and installing from the downloaded file but I get the same results.

I didn't have any problem upgrading from 3.7.7 to 3.8.3 and I don't think anything has changed on the computer.

You actually might have had hidden problems upgrading from 3.7.7. Download the full installer for 3.9.2 and run it.

I downloaded the installer, installed and got the same result. Out of desperation I deleted the following file....config.xml, config-old.xml, and config-master-dont.xml. I then reinstalled from the downloaded file and now I am on 3.9.2. Not sure how or why that worked but it did.
