I've got an older (single coax plug type) Nova-T pci (this is the 909 type right ? not the 9002 one), with the technotrend BDA drivers installed into a P3-2gig, 700meg ram PC to test all the kit. Its running with an nvidia Ti4600 to use for svideo out.

However, after setting up the recording source and the EPG (with just two channels in order to get it working), I click on the "Map digital channels to EPG channels" button and a little popup, pops up saying "Point me at the config directory" and then just hangs. I can't click on it and I can reproduce this with 100% reliability and just cannot get passed it.

I'm running gbpvr9310 with the ShowShifter mux installed (I did try the PowerDVD trial, but the MuxChecker still only sees the SHowShifter one...)

Any ideas ?

Heres a screenshot of where it gets stuck, and I've no idea what config directory it wants !

This popup window is generated by the Showshifter mux. Change to a different mux to make it go away. Alternatively use the search button, as someone identified a fix for this in the past.

Thanks Sub. I did actually use the search function but nothing usefull came up for "showshifter mux popup" :-(

As I still cannot find the fix I switched to the InterVideo trial and used their MUX, which works a treat thanks. Despite installing both the Cyberlink PowerDVD and Cyberlink PowerCinema, it hasn't installed the Cyberlink MUX, can you tell me which product has the mux in it pls ?

Thanks
Si

In case you're still interested, I did a search for "mux popup" and found this thread here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...=mux+popup

Agreed, I also found that thread under my original search criterea, but it doens't solve the problem, or tell you how, just merely states that it can be solved by pointing it at any directory.

Well, I can't point it at any directory, because that popup hangs and crashes gbpvr. Its solved now by using a different MUX to set it up. I can now switch between muxes as I like using the options.

Please remember that just because someone is new to *this* forum, doesn't mean they are new to forums in general. I'm 30 and work as an IT professional, I know how to search forums :-P Only when I was unable to find my answer that way, did I post about it.

I'm sorry, I didn't by any means try to be patronizing (sp?), just trying to help out. Since you explicitly wrote that you searched for showshifter mux poput, I thought that's what you searched for =)
