First of all, mad props to Reven for making so many great GB-PVR plugins. So here is my problem. I have a bunch of SNES roms that I want to use on my PVR box. I want to use the SNES9x Emulator since it is friendly with accepting remote commands. In the documentation, I'm a little confused with how to get each ROM to launch individually from GB-PVR into SNES9x, particularly how I should set up the Arguments. Here is my config verbatim.

Name: Super Nintendo

Executable: C:\Emulators\SNES\snes9x\snes9x.exe

ROM path: C:\Emulators\SNES\ROMS

Arguments:

Extensions: smc

Thanks in Advance

args are the command line switches/args you use to launch the program, eg
snes9x -fullscreen xmen.smc
so if thats the args you would put
Code:
-fullscreen "%ROM%"
in the args part (it might be "%ROMFILE", or "%FILE", or "%FILENAME" i forget which one i used.)

for 99% of emulators you MUST also add the quotes around the %'s otherwise if a filename has a space in it, it will think its a seperate argument, eg if i had
D:\my games\xmen.zip
it would think the rom is just "D:\my" and "games\xmen.zip" was something else.

project64 however requires no quotes (otherwise it stuffs up), thus the reason quotes arent done by the plugin (they were originally).

pretty much all you have to do is figure out how to run a romfile from dos, once you get that just copy the info. the only fields that matter when loading a rom are "executable" and "args", the rest are you locating and displaying the roms.

in the wiki i think i have the snes9x settings listed (im to lazy to look).
