:eek: I have this error pop up, this is the second time this happend.
The Error reads . Error: No Connection could Be made because the target machine actively refused it . To fix this i have to erase the Gbpvr and start from the beginning again. Somebody nows haw to fix this.
Os Windows Xp sp2
Tuner card Hauppauge 150.

I get that error sometimes. But rebooting my computer solves the problem.

I try Rebooting like 7 times no Change still the error. I went a unistall the hole thing and install the program again now it work for now. Thanks

the error means the recording service is not running

Another common cause is firewall software is stopping communication between the GB-PVR components. Try disabling your firewall briefly to check.
