In settings it shows as not connected. If I set the Access PIN to 0000 then connection occurs. I am not sure what this extra connection is bringing as it works when 'not connected'!!

Try the nrecord.exe patch from ... https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...post522712

There is an item to stop the service in NPVR in the Windows Start Menu ... copy the new nrecord.exe into the NPVR Program Files folder ... start the recording service (preferably by re-booting (just in case).

- I would love to see the app work from the WAN rather than only the LAN.
The auto-discovery only works on a LAN. The next release of the app allows the user to enter a server address manually, so you can connect over the Internet.

- With a non-default Access PIN, only one device can connect. As soon as a second device connects, the first ffmpeg process ends and is replaced by the new ffmpeg process. With the Access PIN as 0000, two ffmpeg sessions run
As mentioned by Graham above - try the updated nrecord.exe. It should resolve both of these.

Can't connect again. I reran NPVR installer, installed the new nrecord file I found in another thread and shut down my firewall and still can't connect. Logs attached after an attempt at connecting. I attached an image of my firewall settings.

Since you've indicated you can connect fine if the firewall is disabled, it's got to be somewhere in those firewall settings.

It looks like you've got the right apps allowed, but I'm curious why NRecord.exe and NextPVR are there twice. If you view the details, are they the same path?

Can you try restarting the recording service (to reset the logs), then open the web app on your phone (just the first page, don't do anything), then wait about 30 seconds or so, then open the Android app, then post your logs again?

I'm trying to confirm a couple of things I can't see in your previous logs.

Has your PC got more than one IP address?
