I have two PVR 150s and I need to be able to switch between them. Currently I do not have the remotes properly setup so I cannot get them to control the boxes. Until then I set the boxes to change the channels themselves. The problem is that I consistently see one channel and not the other unless I set a dummy recording to be going on.

I solved the recording problem by assigning certain channels to each tuner so no conflict.

My only issue now is how to be able to choose the tuner in Live TV mode.

I would assume Live TV will use whatever tuner you have set up for that channel.
You can never have enough tuners!

Hello.

I have a quick question/request... At one time I had a DirectTV with Tivo. It was a Sony T-60 (Dual Tuner). I LOVED it. One of the great features of it was that it would be buffering both tuners at the same time. It would allow you to switch back and forth between the tuners while retaining the buffer for each.

I gather from these posts, this is not possible. What would be involved in doing something like this? Big nasty coding? Is this for future development, or not even being considered at this time?

It's possible, by having both tuners recording, not just watching. You can then switch back and forth at leisure.
