NPVR hangs with MP4 file

No, I double checked in the debugger. Immediately after "Adding EVR renderer" it renders the graph.

@Stanno perhaps your files play in WMC because you have 64 bit decoders installed. For NextPVR you need 32 bit decoders

I just ran the LAV installer.exe and I can't see whether it installed 32 or 64 bit.

At NextPVR Settings --> Decoders ... Do the LAV decoders appear in the lists at Video and Audio decoders? If yes, and as a test, select LAV as the decoders in NextPVR Settings.

It might be that you can get the result that you want by renaming the file to .ts (using, as a test File Explorer) and updating the database to .ts.

I have had LAV set as my decoders for several months.
I renamed a file to .TS and tried playing it via Videos and NPVR did nothing for about 20 secs then terminated itself. I then renamed it back to .MP4 and, much to my complete astonishment, it played immediately via Videos. Weird.

Yeah, don't do that. It definitely wont work.
