While we wait for the updated client to fix the reported issue....Is there anyway on the client to force what IP the server is on? I understand the point of searching but would it not speed things up if one was able to hard code the server IP? This would save time anytime the app was restarted.

Not currently, but I'll keep this in mind for a future update.
Hey sorry for the delay coming back to you on this. I've been really busy with other stuff. I've just had the Apple TV plugged back in this morning, and have been testing this.
So when I had an initial check when you first mentioned this 'watch' problem, I also got no video...but unfortunately I later discovered that was related to an antenna being unplugged. (I'd thought you were saying 'watch' in the guide didn't work, but selecting the channel on the Channels screen did work - but having re-read, I don't think that is what you're saying)
Quote:I've been testing with the Apple TV client and it seems to be working - except when in the Guide and I select Watch, nothing happens. Its thinking for a few seconds but then just drops back to the guide.
Using the web interface or windows Nextpvr app - everything works.
On the Apple TV app, if I select record instead of watch when in the guide, it does record.
Do the channels work on the Channels tab, or just not at all for live tv?
I've checked your logs and seen you're using an IPTV service as the video source. I'm going to try setup a test with that combination, to see if I can replicate.
Working pretty well here with IPTV -> Apple TV. (even tried vaders like your logs show)
Can you have one more go at reproducing this and posting the logs, and let me know exactly what time you made the attempt to view the channel, so I can narrow down where to look in the logs?
