I get the error in the subject when attempting to view a live tv channel. I just upgraded to the latest version of GBPVR. I'm using a ATI 550 card and have already tried the "0 byte" fix mention in the sticky thread. Anyone else have this problem or know what I can do to fix?

Looks like unistallin/reinstalling the video card drivers again fixed the problem. Now I have a new one. I just added a Hauppauge PVR 150 to the same system with the ATI 550. How do I get both tuners to work? I really ordered the 150 since it has a remote I want to use and having two tuners would be a plus. When I give either one the setting of "capture device #2" they say the drivers are not installed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Woops! Looks like I spoke too soon. A quick RTFM shows me to set both as #1. The only confusion is that the remote does not seem to work without some setup I guess? I installed the remote app from the Hauppauge CD but it doesn't do anything even though I selected it on the page where I setup the card.

That reads like you've configured your capture source to use the Hauppauge IR Blaster plugin....DONT do that. That is for controlling an external set top box. It does not relate to the remote control.

To get the remote to go, just click on the 'Fix Hauppauge Remote Settings' button, then restart the Hauppauge IR app.

I tried to fix the remote with the button, but it still does not work. I did remove the IR blaster setting shortly after posting my last message since I finally figured out it was for changing the channels on a tuner box and not for the remote functions. The logs are overwritten each time you start GB-PVR. You need to post the logs immediately after you try to view live tv. These logs only show you starting GB-PVR, but nothing more.

Even though I'm getting the same error, its not in the same place. Its just on the screen when I turn on the TV. I cannot make the situation happen even if I start one session recording and view TV at the same time, so I'll wait until I see it again, and then grab/post the file.

I did get the remote working, it turned out that the little connector on the IR receiver that plugs into the card needed to be re-inserted a few times before it started working.

While I'm waiting on the error, I have another esoteric question. My primary recording card is the Theatre 550 and the secondary one is the PVR150. Which do you think is the better card? I would like the better one to make the larger number of recordings that the primary obviously will, so I thought I would ask.

Hi, am also getting the same error but only when I am traversing the TV guide. Am using GBPVR on my PC for now. Downloaded the latest version 0.93.10 also. I notice this error pops up when I traverse beyond the TV guide with my arrow keys, instead of moving back to the first item after I reach the last record, I get this message. I also get the error message when I go up after the first item.

Is this a bug, or maybe I have setup something I shouldn't
