I had programmed USB-UIRT to be able to change my cable box through GBPVR doing the whole press button "1" and Hold until told to release thong. Set up the profile and saved it and it worked fine for a little while. For some reason it has changed now and it will flash a "0" on the cable box and and I get ??? that shows up on the TV screen. When I went in toi set up a new profile for it it automatically started acting like it was recieving an IR signal for the button when I wasn't pushing anything. Whats going on? pleasse help.

Thanks

A few users had this in the past. Apparently all sorts of things generate IR light that can be picked by the USB-UIRT's learning sensor. Try turning everything else in the room off, or do the learning in box or something...

I put the blaster inside a box and it still acted like it was recieving an IR signal from something else.

It ends up beinmg a software bug. I uninstalled the IR blaster and GBPVR and then re-installed them both and then it worked.

I'm having a few problems setting up my ir remote. I have a hauppage MCE2005 remote, and a USB box that comes with it, and an irblaster that plugs in to that.

the remote is working ok for channel change, Enter etc.I don't seem to be getting anything out of the irblaster though. I have installed the hauppauge remote control and irblaster programs but I get errors about chsuite.ocx not being registered when I run the irblaster setup program

GB-PVR is not compatible with the MCE2005 ir blaster.
