Poor image quality with MVP

I bought one of the clearance MediaMVPs from RadioShack and installed it on my computer. It set up easily and works well with GB-PVR, but I am not happy with the image quality. Overall the image is too dark and the reds seem oversaturated. I've tried a number of drivers up to and including the latest beta on shspvr.com, as well as both the composite and s-video outputs without any luck. Unless anyone has a recommendation, I'll be sticking with my Xcard.

I felt the image was better with the s-video cable (mid-range$), but not as bright or clear as the Xcard.
