I've come across your software and decided to try it as the wintv32 application that came with my Hauppage Nova T USB2 device was shocking and from the screenshots this looked excellent!

I am however experiencing a number of problems.

The first is that the BDA Mux checker is not picking up any MPEG multiplexer filters, I'd be grateful if you could forward me to where I can get a free one of these please?

The second is that even though on the front page of the website it states that my device is supported, when I run the Tuning Assistant, select United Kingdom there is no option in the drop down menu for Nova T USB2 hardware.

Finally I presume the above have something to do with the Channels tab of the config window being populated by a solitary grey box.

All of the above was tried after installing the Hauppage software.

I'd be grateful if anybody can help me with the above as I'm desparate to ditch the Wintv app.

Cheers!

If you use the forum search feature you'll easily find this information. One recent post was: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=5...stcount=41

The tuning assistant is not needed for using the Nova-T USB2. It's only for analog devices.

Sorry, I dont understand? FYI though, the tuning assistant does absolutely nothing. It doesnt change any GB-PVR settings or anything. It's just a really simple standalone TV app that can help analog card users understand what channels are being broadcast on what frequency.

If you're channel list is empty, may be you didnt setup your EPG settings for your capture source?

Thanks for the feedback.

Since posting this I've gone through the documentation on the website and worked through the process of creating a Capture Source. However when I select Capture Card Type I have a number of devices from Hauppage, but no Nova T USB 2 option. I've tried selecting a different Hauppage device, but I get a message box stating that the drivers are not installed which is understandable.

I'd be grateful if you could tell me if I'm missing something when trying to select a Nova T USB 2 device as my Capture Card Type.

Cheers.

WHen you create the capture source, you need to select 'recording source' to use the "BDA Recording Plugin", then when you click settings you'll get Nova-T USB2 as an option.
