GBPVRRecordingService Error

I'm not sure what is causing the problem, but when ever I start to record a show I get a fatal error dealing with GBPVRRecordingService. I have just started using GB PVR so I'm not sure if I just need to set something up. I'm using the PVR150. Software is great, and that is really the only problem I'm having.

Just as a test I set something to record last night. When I woke up I had the error up on my computer and 5 hours of recorded video (on a 1 hr set recording) in my dir.

I'll post the specific error when I get back home and can type it word for word. Just wonding if anyone had any ideas. Thanks.

It'll relate to the following error, but I cant see any obvious reason you're getting this.

Are you running on Windows Media Center Edition? Or possible the device is in use in another application? Or maybe you selected the wrong card type?

This sounds like the exact same problem I was having. I started receiving this error after switching to a PVR 150 but it only occurred on recordings that used the component input. The error dialog would pop up on screen and the recording would continue indefinitely until I clicked ok on the dialog. Then the recording service would abort, but sometimes I didn't notice the dialog box until after filling up my disk. Is this your trouble?

Whatever the case, on subs recommendation I upgraded my drivers. I was using the pvr150_22_22292 drivers available from the Hauppauge website, but upgrading to the beta 23209 drivers from http://www.shspvr.com solved my problem.

Just an update for you Sub. It seems the beta driver recommended by WTG worked. I tested it this morning and so far everything is working out great.. Thanks guys.
