Video Not Playing (what do i need)

Hi guys.

Popped in 512mb ram, and i've seen a bump in performance. Overlay mode still doesn't work (the video goes black when the OSD is on) but VMR9 now is more acceptable.

I'm still not getting sound on items recorded by GBPVR though, and I've installed a version of PowerDVD I had lying around. It's kind of annoying, since everything else is working pretty well.

If anyone had any ideas i'd be very grateful!

What capture device are your using, and what speed CPU do you have?

It's a Via 1.3gz chip (the SP13000) and I'm using a PVR-500 card.

It playsback everything else I throw at it fine, seemingly, large DIvX films, even something I recorded with GBPVR on my main home machine, before I had my mini-itx system setup.

Try the new v0.94.8 release. There is a couple of sound related fixes that may help.
