Well, did find the .Exe file in Subs last page in his thread. Downloaded it and ran it while version 4 is still installed on my computer.

Ran it and installed it but the webpage that comes up is for my the version 4 and not version 5. So I can't get into Version's 5 settings to set up the channels and devices etc.

In the Hidden Icon panel (Windows lower right far side of Task bar) it hijacked my version 4 NPVR Tray icon and replaced it with the version 5 which I can't configure.

The regular NPVR v.4 Task bar icon in my task bar runs the correct version.

Have to admit I like the new version of how to navigate around NVPR, at least in your browser.

But I will post at Sub's thread concerning these issues on version 5.

I know you mentioned something about copying some NVPR data folders to the new version but not sure which folders and where they exactly go.

Downloaded it and ran it while version 4 is still installed on my computer.

Take a backup copy of your existing v4 npvr.db3. Uninstall v4. Rerun v5 installer.

If you have v4 and v5 together you probably need to use port 8867 for v5 and for Kodi.

I'm giving up on this now since the thread should be in the v5 forum so that other users might benefit from the responses.
