On the PC, when you hit <esc> you leave GBPOVR, that's fine no problem, no drama.

But viewing GBPVR on the MPV, hitting the back button just one too many times (which is easy to do, as the MPV is slower to react) exits the GBPVR screen, and the MPV Connecting to Servers Creen comes up. There are no errors on the PC and it reconnects fairly quickly, but in the previous version AFAIR it didn't seem to do this.

I have the EXIT Plugin unchecked, but it still does it. It's a bit exasperating waiting for it to re-connect every time, esp if you are watching liveTV.

Is this by design or a glitch on my behalf? If it is by design, is there way to force it NOT to go back that extra step?

open the config.xml file in notepad and search for '<ExitOnEsc>' without the quotes.
change the value from true to false and gbpvr wont exit anymore when you hit esc or back on the main menu
AMD 1600mHz, 512 M RAM, 20+160 GB drive, Hauppauge PVR-350 + PVR-150 + PVR-150MCE, Win XP Pro SP3, using software decoding.

There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

Cheers betlit, I'll try that when I get home tonight, presumably this works on the MVP as well? i.e. the "back" key on the MVP remote mirrors the <Esc> key on the KB?

Sub, would there be any chance (or any merit) of adding an option in the Config for this, or should GBPVR not have exited the main menu in the first place?

The default behaviour is to not exit. I dont think it even deserves a setting in the config app, as its only useful for a very small number of people. I'm not sure how you ended up with it enabled.

Thanks, that's exactly what I needed to know. I have no-eye-deer either, I promise (swear blind) I didn't play around with the config.xml.
