Zap2it Questions

I was under the impression that I'd have about 3 weeks worth of listings at any given time, but recently, my zap2it listings stalled at this coming wednesday. There didn't appear to be any problem with the update epg function (it runs fine when I update manually, and I assume the 3am updates do as well--it just isn't giving me new listings), it seemed to process. This morning there was finally an addition to the listings, extending them to...This thursday? About 18 hours worth of new listings total.

I logged onto my account, there didn't appear to be any problems, the 'subscription' lasts to november, and there were no notifications.

Does you all have listings further out than Thurs (7pm)? I had hoped to do my programming a couple of weeks at a time. A set it and forget it sort of thing. Is this normal? I'm new.

Come to think of it, I don't think anything new has added since last Thursday, or Friday. And my subscription is through 9/28/05.

Could this have anything to do with the -- new to 0.93.10 -- config item:

<Zap2itListingDays>4</Zap2itListingDays>

Seems interesting we seem to see about 4 days (or more, yet shrinking) worth of listings, and that's what the number is.

This was not in the backup config I have. I noticed this when I upgraded but because it is an undocumented feature I did not touch it. Anyone have any docs on this? I likely just missed it somewhere.

Its able to be configured in the zap2it configuration screen of the config app. Its not just hidden away in the config.xml.

I still haven't had any additions to my schedule. I just manually did an update EPG also. Is anybody else noticing this?

Try a manual 'Update EPG' then post your config.exe.log file and I'll take a look.

I was experiencing the same problem as Pioneer4x4 with Zap2It. I ended up switching the the XMLTV feed of Zap2It and that feed seems to be working. I tried both a manual update of the EPG and the automated at night, didn't get anything beyon 9/20 at 8pm (that was the last entry). Switching to the XMLTV feed I now have up through the 24th which is what I would expect. There didn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary when I looked at the Config.exe.log file.

So for those still experiencing the issue, the work around is to switch to an XMLTV version of Zap2it.
