There is no function to do that. I may add it in the future.
It would be an excellent function, it would allow you to save channel lists of different locations and be able to re-import them as needed without having to scan again (for example: usual second holiday home in another region).
Or even just to restore a channel list (maybe even already edited) that has been destroyed.

It gets saved into the NPVR.db3 database file.
do you know a program that can convert the file to ascii text in order to create a report similar to this?

I use this ... https://sqlitebrowser.org/

There are others ... search for ... read sqlite ... or similar

Make a copy of npvr.db3 before you open it ... just in case.

Well, thanks, running that app I opened and exported the db3 database to a csv file.
Do you use a better method?
I note, however, that the database does not contain the values of the frequencies, where are they located?

In the Channel_Mapping table ... I see that the Tuning column has ...

Quote:<tuning>
  <type>DVB-T</type>
  <locator>
    <frequency>562000</frequency>
    <bandwidth>8</bandwidth>
  </locator>
  <service_id>6848</service_id>
  <tsid>4161</tsid>
  <onid>9018</onid>
  <service_type>2</service_type>
  <provider></provider>
</tuning>

Sub uses a lot of embedded xml in fields so you can't use direct sqlite to view them.

In fact all I see in the csv file exported with sqlite is this, and the frequency is not there:

7902,Rai 1,1,DVB/ATSC EPG,"<epg>
  <source>DVB/ATSC EPG</source>
  <capture_source>21</capture_source>
  <readable_source>3401:16384:318 Rai 1</readable_source>
  <mapping>3401:16384:318</mapping>
</epg>

You're looking at the wrong table. That's CHANNEL. It's in the CHANNEL_MAPPING table, in the 'tuning' column.

YES, I have just done that, OK!
I had exported CHANNEL, now CHANNEL_MAPPING
I have now to merge the two csv files infos.

It's a one to many relationship. ie, you could have one channel available from multiple devices, each with different tuning information. (ie, DVB-T and DVB-S versions etc)
