Here is an update don't worry about the ugly info in 4martin.txt under the filename that is my information for adding to nextpvr what I am interested in is the files that say not parsed which means I won't import them automatically.

Do those show up under any files you feel you want added?

Posting 4martin.txt will help to confirm things are good too.

This is a request of request for comments on a updated utility import existing ts files into NextPVR.

Other than that I am open to suggestions.

Forgive me if this is not realistic .... This guy ... https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid540157 ... is running two configurations WMC and NextPVR to record DRM and not-DRM ... I suspect that he is not the only one ... Is there a market for a utility that runs as a service and continually monitors the recording folder used by WMC and adds WMC recordings to the NextPVR database as soon as they appear in the WMC folder?  This would allow NextPVR to be used to play the DRM shows as if they had been recorded by NextPVR.

I know with the Music Box plugin I did do the continuous importing for music files so I have the technology but for this use case it wouldn't be practical The WTV file still have DRM so NextPVR still would not be able to play them. These files are som locked down by Microsoft you can't even move them on your home network or play them on other instance of WMC expect on the xbox.

That being said I did look into importing the video exif metadata but I couldn't find a way to edit or create in Win 10 to test.

Doh! ... I knew that the files were DRM protected and wouldn't play ... I would have realised that it was a daft idea if I had thought about it for longer than half a second.  Apologies for time wasting.
