No devices found

Hello all,

I am new to NextPVR and migrating (or trying to at least) from Windows Media Centre on Win 7 to NextPVR and Kodi on Win 10.

I have 2 Kaiser Baas USB twin TV tuner dongles which work fine on Win 7 but I cannot get NextPVR to register them. They are listed in Win 7 as DIB7700 DTV tuner and Winfast DTV Dongle Gold BDA Device but when I plugged the first one into Win 10 it labelled it as a Yuan MC872 but neither driver made a difference.

Win 10 sees them and displays their presence in control panel>devices as well as manage>devices.

When I go to the NextPVR settings page and scan for devices there is nothing listed except IPTV which I clearly don't want.

I really hope we can get this sorted as moving away from Win 7 would be good.

Thank you, I did find that post too and installed the version from Microsoft. Sub has it as VC_redist.x86.exe while the "official" one is VC_redist_x86.exe. I downloaded both so will try that one too.

Well I'll be buttered on both sides and eat my hat. That version by Sub did the job.

Obviously there is some difference between the two.

same problem no devices found

had to buy a new mini pc due to the other one becoming a brick

installed win 10 and downloaded latest drivers

v5 no devices
tried v4, 4 devices found

please help

It appears that NextPVR is finding your tuner ... What are you seeing in Devices in the NetxPVR V5 Web App ... https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/set...ital-tuner

Are V4 and V5 on the same machine? Have you set the port number? ... https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/advanced-setup
