Can't play DivX files. Why?

When I play a DivX avi file with MP3 I can;t get them to play - the first frame of the file is shown and then I get the windows error reporting box.

The log is below

Can anyone see where the problem is?

Forgot to mention - I can play MPG file OK

If you try to play the same file in Windows Media Player, does it play?
